Description
CMP-Barker were awarded the contract to install a 3 sided steel sheet pile retaining wall with a total length of 80.40 lin/m long using L604 piles, with a driven length of 10.50m
The sheet piled wall was installed to allow excavation for the Proton Beam cancer unit to be constructed below ground level.
The line was pre augered and the piles installed using our 13-16 Telescopic Leader Rig with a 90 tonne leader mounted resonance free vibratory hammer.
The sheet piles are a permanent part of the construction works.
CMP-Barker Ltd were contracted to:
- Supply the sheet piles.
- Procure all plant
- Install the sheet piles with a 13-16m TLR
The works were completed on programme and on budget
